OBJECTIVES
CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)® is a prestigious professional designation for finance professional and investment analyst. The assessment is conducted once a year every June (Level 1 exam are conducted twice a year every June and December)
and is held by CFA INSTITUTE all over the world at the same time.
Rapid growth on the investment and financial world need a standard for investors and employers in connecting and working the investment and financial professionals.
This brings a tremendous growth in the number of CFA participants as CFA program
has a high standard of knowledge integrity and professionalism.
The CFA’s standards are acknowledged internationally. There are lots of MBA programs and business schools around us but there is only one CFA.
Some of the organizations that employ CFA charterholders are investment management
companies, consulting companies, investment bankers, insurance, pension fund, banking, and other financial institution..
Demands for CFA charterholders are significantly high whereas there are only
around 100 CFA charterholders in Indonesian. In Indonesia itself there
are a lot of multinational companies that require of passing at least CFA Level
1 as a prerequisite of the employment.
The development of the CFA is implausible that resulted in 150.000 people in
more than 100 countries taking the assessment in 2007. In America itself,
having CFA is deemed more prestigious for the reason that its subject matters are
deeply tested and more practical. Given for the first time in 1963, now CFA is sponsored by the CFA INSTITUTE, and given to the professionals that fulfill these requirements:
- Passed three exam levels (6 hours per exam) in a row with a minimum of three years.
- Has working experience of a minimum of four years in the field of investment decision-making.
- Adhere to the CFA INSTITUTE Code of Ethics and Standard of
Professional Conduct.

Introduction to CFA Class
To help candidates that have non-business background, we will hold an introduction for CFA class for 1 day on
Saturday / July 12, 2008 from 08.15 am – 05.30
pm (4 sessions). This module is used to give and build some background
for candidates in order to adapt with the material.
